WISE Payment: Global or Local account details?

Hello,

I added my Wise account details to Upwork, but I added Global (SWIFT) details except for Local, which I guess was a mistake. Then I send money from Upwork through that payment method. Did I just lost my money or they will appear on my WISE account / return to my Upwork account? What should I do?

Hi Kamil,

 

Thank you for reaching out. The funds will be sent to the payment method on file. If there are any issues with the bank account, the funds will be returned to Upwork and once this has happened, rest assured that we will immediately credit the funds to your account.
