Was I paid?

I am new to upwork. I completed my first job yesterday. I clicked end contract before I was paid. I don't know if this was what I was supposed to do. I do not see my earnings anywhere. Please help!

Why did you do that?

Was it a fixed rate or hourly contract? If fixed rate and you ended the contract before the client approved the milestone, you sent the escrow funds back to the client.

If it was hourly, did you track your hours with the Upwork app?
