Hi everyone! I'm looking for some help from website creators. I would like to understand more about how your clients communicate what they need and want in their website. More specifically:
When a client asks for a website, how do they usually communicate what they want the website to look like? For example, do they come to you with a website theme they want to use? Do they ask you to pick the look or maybe they want you to give them options?
Do the requests change based off of the client's needs, such as the type of website they would like you to create?
Any and all insight is greatly appreciated!

There's no one way.
I've had clients scribble something on a napkin at a restaurant, take a screenshot of it, and send that as the basis for their project.
