Weekly retainer

I am on a weekly retainer contract with my client and we plan on pausing the contract this weekend to look at the way forward, I need to ask if I will get paid for this week if he pauses the contract?

I would recommend the contract to be paused on Monday once your client is billed for this week. If further help is needed, let me know. Thank you.
