What does the question "what format do you like working in" mean?
It's a pre-set question that clients can ask. But I have now idea what is meant by "format" and you can tell most client proposals know why they are choosing this question to ask 😉
It's so general. Any ideas?

If you are a proofreader, "format" should relate to "file format"
Do you prefer to work with Word, txt, PDF, HTML?
If it is for some other kind of job, you would need to mention it for more accurate answer.

That would tied to the kind of job it is and is asking what types of programs or apps you use for that type of job, I think.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think it means Would you prefer Fixed price or Hourly job?

No I don't think it is this. Which is why I found the question so confusing myself 😉
