What is a 'profile discovery' in 'my stats'?

I see my 'profile discovery' rate falling down to zero last week. Which appears strange since i received invitation to bid on a project 5 days ago, obviously someone couldn't invite me to bid on his project without viewing my profile, so i got to have at least one 'discovery', or am i getting it wrong? What constitutes a profile 'discovery'?

Haha thank you, that helps a lot! I was starting to wonder 'am i already banned/blacklisted or what?' coz i started active marketing 3 weeks ago after my big out-of-Upwork client's project ended and only watch in scare my profile views falling and falling lol

But please get it fixed. It's an important metric to guide my marketing.
