I have two-three contracts where client has become unresponsive.
So what is the best way to contact the client? Can Upwork provide client's email or anything?
These contracts are idle for a month or so, and I fear it would hamper the JSS.
Recently I had ended one contract myself.

Upwork messages, or just leave them alone. They know where they are.
