I have linked my bank account to Upwork and I need to buy connects. However, I am unable to buy them. What could be the matter?
What will exactly happen if I allow charging to primary billing method, because I don't have earnings in my account yet.

Hi Deepa,
When you`re purchasing connects, your billing method will be charged for the price of the bundle you`ve chosen to purchase.
If you`re receiving any errors on your end when you`re purchasing connects, let me know here. Thank you.

So what does it mean when billing method is charged? I have a free basic plan. Does it mean I will hve to pay a monthly fee? Please let me know.

Thank You for your response.
I understand that the Connects are no longer free. But the problem is, I am unable to buy them, despite giving my bank details. Besides, I have no earnings made on my Upwork account yet. When I follow the steps to buying them, it says, Your payment could not be processed. Please choose an alternate payment method or retry again later.
Do let me know what could be wrong here.

Hello,
I have asked my bank to validate my card for international transactions. I have done whatever necessary to activate it. Yet, I am unable to buy Connects. I have added bank details of two banks. No matter, which option I choose, I get the following message attached for your perusal. Each time I update the details, it gets saved successfully. But I am unable to buy Connects. Please look into the matter.
