When is it OK to have interview?

Hi everyone, i was been invited for an interview by unfortunately i did not grab the offer because as per client interview will be done thru skype. Is it ok to go outside upwork when having interview?. I am afraid to accept the offer.

Having an interview via skype is not a violation on our TOS, asking or getting paid outside of Upwork is a violation on our TOS.

We recommend to keep all of your communication on Upwork or use our video/call option, but you can agree with your client on a communication method that best fits the needs of both parties.

Skype interviews are fine! I have had quite a few. Most of the time it allows the client to get his ideas across quicker, while you get to ask any questions you may have. It's much quicker than sitting and typing back and forth all the time....also a great idea to keep a copy.
