When will I get paid?

Hi. I just started my first contract last week May 10, 2021. I have already worked 36 hours for my first week. I just wanna ask how long does it take to review my weekly summary and get my earnings? As I've checked, it is still in review until now. Thank you.

Hi Rizza,

I checked and I can see that you have an hourly contract. For hourly contracts, the hours logged are automatically invoiced to your client and the funds become available following the Weekly Billing Cycle. Here's the help article for more information. 

• Week 1 – Freelancer logs time using the Upwork desktop app and Work Diary.
• Week 2 – Hours within the weekly limit invoice to your clients on Monday. They have until Friday to review the work. Then the review period ends.
• Week 3 – Earnings become available on the following Wednesday.

The Upwork hourly projects work week ends each Sunday at 11:59 GMT/UTC.

Upwork will typically release payment to you for the same work week 10 days later. Until then you'll see the amount of payment due you as the Pending item under Reports/Overview.
