I have a new to Upwork client, client did fund one milestone and send me the job offer which I did accept, but now before doing anything want to also check that his payment method is now verified. Don't know where to look.
Does funding a milestone in itself indicate that it is verified? Because he must have a verified method to do that?

Jacqueline, here's one way to check. Go to My Jobs, then click the name of the contract. After that, click View original job post under Contract Details. Then check if About The Client has a green check mark.

That worked, there is a green check mark so the client is verified.
Just going to the original job offer it's hard to be sure, the "not verified" notation is removed but there is nothing that actually says verified. The green check mark give you something you can look for so that's great. Thanks!

Hi Jacqueline,
You can go to My Jobs> All Contracts and check the new contract you have with the client, there will be a link to the original job posting and you'll see if their account is verified.
However I've checked and the client with whom you've entered into a contract today and it looks like his payment method is verified.

If the client sent a direct offer (not an invite to interview resulting in a hire) then there IS no job posting to look at and no way to check other than to contact Support and ask.
