Who customarily ends a contract?

@Upwork:

I know this is an old thread. I was confused by the posts at the beginning from someone who seems to be identifying herself as, acting as, and being taken as a moderator, despite a forum tag identifying her as a random contractor. Could you please clarify?

Best,

Michael

Hi Michael,

Ayesha was a moderator before I started, so you may see her post on some of the older threads.

Thanks, Valeria! I guess she doesn't get issued "stationery" retroactively. B^)

What if you have completed a project that you were contracted for hourly and then the client gives you more work without closing or giving you a new contract. Will you be paid? I tried using the Upwork app to account for my time but it is not recording my time anymore. Can any one advise me?

Is it the transcriptions contract?

Check under your My Jobs tab, it might be paused if it has been inactive more than 30 days, in which case the client needs to unpause it.

Or it might be on hold, in which case the client may need to fix something.

Either way you need to check to make sure you get paid for any work you do.

Hi Keron,

I checked your Work Diary and see you were able to track your time earlier today. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
