Your client did not pay for your hours last week, and your hours did not qualify for protection. It is not a "real" refund, because there never was any money.
Did you log manual time or didn't have meaningful memos or low activity levels? When a client fails to pay, Upwork only pays you out of their own pocket if your hours were properly tracked with the Upwork app and had meaningful work memos that clearly describe what you were working on and good activity levels.

Yes, these are real hours worked and I logged every minutes of work. I tracked with Desktop App.

Hi Abdul,
Unfortunately, when the client fails to pay for hours logged by the freelancer, any hours that aren't covered by Upwork Hourly Protection may be reversed.
Our team will reach out to you directly via email with more information about your specific case.
Thank you!

Well, how about you check your work diary and see? Essentially, when a client fails to pay, you are only covered if all the criteria for protection are fulfilled: Time tracked with the tracker *AND* meaningful work memos *AND* adequate activity levels *AND* only work related screenshots.
