Why Upwork app don't work properly?

Why Upwork app doesn't work properly? I mean it does not send notifications like WhatsApp, nor it refreshes messages nor update the latest messages often.

Sometimes, I can't even reply from this app. Is Upwork doing anything about it?

Can you confirm if you're referring to our Android or IOS app and share your system information? Can you also try to reinstall our app and see if you're experiencing the same problems? Thank you.
