Why are my proposals not being viewed?

Good day. Is there a reason my proposals are not being seen by the clients? Even when I boost them it doesn't seem as though they are being viewed. Is there something wrong with my account?

Please see attatchment

Nivenka,

Proposals don't get viewed for only three major reasons:

- The cover letter proposal doesn't appeal to the client.

- Applying for jobs that are not a good match.

- There are better suited freelancers applying for the job.

Have a great day!

I dnt think this is a glitch . Mostly for any proposals, if the number of applicants are more, your proposal might not get reviewed. sometimes clients also post job and  then they get busy with some other priority work. I would suggest see the demand & supply and then send proposal accordingly.

Adarsh

Hi, For the past month, I have been promptly placing bids on client projects on Upwork, but I have not received any responses, and it appears that my proposals are not being viewed. Are there any updates or changes regarding the proposal submission process?

It's HIGHLY competitive and important to have in-demand skills.

It is my understanding potential clients can see at least two hard numbers about you before they even open your proposal: 1) Your Job Success Score, and 2) your proposed rate of pay.

If 1) is below 90 and/or 2) is more than they can afford to pay, your proposal is uniikey to be opened.

Competition is so high in some areas of Upwork that, human nature being what it is, at least some clients do everything they can to reduce the amount of time and effort it will take to choose a freelancer.

 this is the reason

But for sure, you will end up spending over $1000 and only receive a few hundred dollars for your work. In the end, you'll be working for free and losing money.
