Why are there no job invitations anymore?

When I got the top rated status over five years ago, I started receiving numerous job invitations. However, that changed about 2 years ago. I haven't received any job invitation in over six months. What could be the reason for those who may be experiencing the same problem?

Everyone. But for me it is going 2 years more already. Someone faced with this an 3 month ago.

Management changed 2 years ago and starting to kill platform. We can see results.

Clients gone. No clients - no invitations.

I hear you, Bernard. I used to receive many invites a week, sometimes several a day, but nowadays it's indeed completely dead. 

The good job postings in my field vanished. No clients > no job posts > no invites.

I am here for about 1 year. I got only 3 invitations in 3 months. Horrible conditions!

The same happening to me, No Jobs, No Invites. Even on those I apply I go outbid
For the past few years, I fully depended on upwork for freelance work. Now, I'm disappointed by the new rules & features of Upwork.

I am helpless now, I don't see any path where to spend my extra hours to be productive.

Upwork has decided to push us in with the plebs to remind us who's boss. This is how I imagine Upwork when we get too cocky.

Yep, same here. I used to get invitations regularly and now it's all but stopped. A genuine clilent invite very occasionally pops up or recently a couple of auto-invites - 1 decent the other not my line of work (but the proposals seem to not be viewed). All up it's a huge change for the negative these past couple of years, as many freelancers here are confirming.
