Why did a client's feedback disappear from my profile?

So a job ended well, I gave a feedback, the client gave a feedback, and it showed on my profile for a couple of days. Now, when I view my profile on the "Work history and feedback" section, the feedback isn't there. The feedback still exists when I view the closed job. Can anyone explain this? EDIT: one of my jobs in progress disappeared as well, I'm starting to think that something went wrong with this section.

There is something wrong. My latest feedback is missing and the chronological order of the feedback has been messed up so it's no longer chronological.

 

 

Me too I just lost some very nice feedback and got a job I refunded with some rather unfair feedback posted back up again.

 It looks in chronological order to me...

Are you looking at it while logged in and sorted by "newest first?"

 

The "in progress" jobs always show before the closed ones by the way.

I should have added that to my first post ๐Ÿ˜‰

 

It may look like chronological order but the chronology has changed since yesterday Smiley Very Happy (the months are still chronological but the dates the contracts closed/feedback was given are no longer in chronological order).

 

 

I'm set to newest first and that wouldn't explain why feedback from a refunded job has reappeared.

 

It's a mystery.

 No, it is a bug... seems to affect everyone....

 Bojan this affects everyone so it needs fixing... "Reaching out" doesn't fix it. Every profile is affected so the only reaching out needed is reaching for the tech guys, grabbing them warmly by the throat, and getting them to fix it. It happened a couple of weeks ago, whatever they did back then to fix it, get them to do it again and hopefully permanently.

 

I've completed two projects with IDs "21224525 , 21232724"  but today they disappeared from my profile. Also, I've used my top rated perk to remove a feedback and it's removed but now it showed up"20921539".

I checked your contracts and both of them are listed on your profile. Regarding the contracts that you`ve removed the feedback, it's not listed on your profile. Thank you.

Having the same problem I refunded amount to the Client in July and it costed me my Top Rated Status (I wasn't aware of the top rated perk back then)  and today that feedback is again appearing on my profile. I am unable to contact the support about this as the "Get Help"button isnt working. 

Any mods please check and resolve this!

 It is a bug that affects everyone... Upwork are aware of it and were, as of yesterday, dealing with it.

Last month, I was working on a project but it was not going well with the client so I refunded his amount and as well the job was "cancelled". But that job is showing up in my profile now saying "No feedback given". This was not there before today. Today the first time I am experiencing this. How is it possible ? Don't know what is up to Upwork. Is there any way to sort this out ? No doubt it is embarassisng.

Also, I asked a friend to see how my profile look like and he sent me this screenshot. The contracts are not listed.
Note: They**Edited for Community Guidelines** were listed yesterday.

Hi Roman,

 

Thank you for reaching out to us. Please note that only jobs on which payment has been processed are displayed on Freelancer's profile. Once funds from Pending tab are released to the Available tab after 5-day security period, your job will be visible on your profile together with the feedback you are referring to.  In order to check the status of your payment, please go to your account > select the Reports tab > Overview and you'll see the funds under the Pending tab. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

 This is not the case for me. Jobs and feedback show the day both parties left it.

Hey there. 

Last year I took on a project which was canceled by the client himself but appeared in my job history just the other day. 

Could someone tell me how and why this project which was canceled about a year ago is now in my job history and it was never there before?  Is it possible to fix that? 

I did some mistakes on the platform, I know.  But recently I've been trying to improve my service and job success score and this is seriously harming it.

I plan to do this job long-term and It's very demotivating and tiring to see most of your efforts were in vain.

I'd appreciate if someone sheds some light on that issue.

I have a similar problem: a contract finished, the client gave feedback, me too and the feedback has been shown for 1 day. Suddenly the feedback disappeared from my work history on my profil. Because that is my first feedback it is really important to me that it appears on my profil. Can you please have a look and support me with this problem?

I can see it! Congrats on your first successfully completed contract.

 

Little bonus tip: Try not to take contracts at half your profile rate, it can lead to pushback from clients when they see it and you try to get your real rate.

A few weeks ago(Dec 7, 2018), I finished an hourly project and the clients and I have both given feedback. 

Right now, the number of my total jobs and my total hours are both added,  but the feedback and the job aren't displayed on my profile.

How to resolve this issue?

Hi Jonathan, 


I checked the contract you are referring to and can see that it started and ended two weeks ago. Once the payment for this hourly contract goes through the weekly billing cycle, the feedback and the job will show up on your Work History. As this was two weeks ago, it should show up on your profile within 24-hours.

The comment of my client is not updated on my profile, I have completed my project two days ago, but still, it's now showing up on my profile. How much time is it gonna take?
