Why does it say I don't meet a job's criteria based on location US 5:00-UTC? I'm based in California

Hey guys,

Anyone know why I keep getting a notification that I don't meet certain jobs' criteria due to location US 5:00-UTC? I'm definitely based in the US.

The client put a location preference on the job, which you should be able to see near the bottom of the job post. You can still apply, but your proposal may be filtered out of the client's best matching proposal list because of the preference.
