Why is upwork holding a payment for over 2 weeks after job completed???

I completed a job on 11/22. Client was execptionally happy and promptly accepted delivery and put money in escrow for my hours. I was initially told by upwork I would be today Mon the 29th but now it says I will be paid Dec 7th 

What is going on here ???

The chatbot cannot provide any answers. How do I get a real person for help with this? 

Incredibly frustrating

Hourly contracts and fixed price contracts are different.
