Do you really think I haven't read this page? 🙂

Then you already know that you can't be top rated when your JSS is below 90%.

They take away your top freelancer badges if you are not on the platform all the time. I had a client whom I worked for off the Upwork platform, you know. a  real person that is local,  ( yes, Upwork, I have another life) and when I returned they had stripped me of my Top freelancer staus.  Now I have lost my 100% success score despite having 100% success.

I corresponded a lot with the support department of Upwork. But it seems like I am talking to some robots. Whenever I tell my problems, they refer me to a normal link with basic explanations. I have only started working in Upwork for three months and I had a relatively good income to begin with. I expected the support department to see these things and treat me more fairly

Why my success rate has changed from 100 to 83 despite the high rate of clients and their positive recommendations and my perfectly good work?

Please don't say this sentence if you want to help me:

" You can monitor your progress and help manage your success by using your My Stats page to track your Job Success Score "

I have read these pages a lot. One hundred percent of my clients are satisfied with my work, why should my success rate be 83%?

It's the private feedback of clients counting towards JSS, not the public one. It could be one of your clients did not have the guts to leave a mediocre public feedback, so they expressed their feelings privately.

Thanks, but I don't think it has anything to do with this. I have seen many 3 stars and 4 stars freelancers who have a success rate of over 95%. All my clients have entrusted me with their next projects! Why should they have a negative opinion about my work?

We don't know why they do. With the number of contracts with feedback, more than one client didn't leave great private feedback.

The only other possibility for a decrease in JSS is that a contract was cancelled before any payment was done, or you refunded a contract completely. The client can still leave not so good private feedback.

What you your client recommend %? This gives you more of an indication what is going on.

Hi Edris,

I have merged your posts because it's related anyway, and so I can respond to both questions with one post. Your Job Success score is updated every two weeks, and it's important to note that any movement in this score (either up or down) reflects both recent activity and activity over a more extended period.

Many factors go into your JSS calculation, including public and private feedback given when the contract is closed, the weight of the contract, etc. We won't be able to share information about any specific feedback, but you can check the explanation of how your score is calculated here.

As for your badge, if you're referring to the Rising Talent or the Top Rated badge, please know that you need to consistently meet the requirements listed in the article shared by Joanne (for the Top Rated badge) and this article (for the Rising Talent badge). You will not be eligible for the badge if you do not meet any of the requirements listed.
