Will I lose "connects" if I accept an interview invitation?

I was invited for a relatively good interview, but I'm afraid to accept and not be hired. I'm saving connects... Will I lose connects if I accept the interview?

If you were invited  to a job without applying for it, then you don't lose any connects. 

If you applied for a job and then got an interview, you will win 10 connects, so if you don't accept the interview, you will lose out on a potential job, which you may or may not get. There is no point in hoarding connects, because there is never a certainty that one will land a job.  However, you don't get your connects returned if you don't get an interview.
