Wire transfer to Turkey

I have a Turkish bank account in Turkish Lira currency. I added a payment method WIRE TRANSFER (USD)
I can't use Direct to Local Bank because I have not recieved the Turkish ID yet.
I withdrew the payment to the Turkish currency account via Wire Transfer and the bank will automatically calculate the rate? Or did I need to create an account in dollars and only then withdraw the payment?

Hi Alina,

I think it's better to add a payment method as Direct to Local Bank. But if you want to receive a payment in US Dollars open an Account in US Currency and your bank will decide the Exchange rate.

I can't add "Direct to Local Bank" because it asks residence permit of Turkey which I have not recieved yet. The only way is Wire Transfer. So can I withdraw usd from Upwork and recieve Turkish lira on my bank account?
