Hi there!

My withdrawal is declined by a local bank (incorrenct beneficiary name).

When will I get my money back on Upwork to request withdrawal again? Did anyone have such problem?

The bank stated that payment is returned to Upwork.

Thanks beforehand!

 1) Is your Upwork account name the same as the bank account name?

2) It usually takes a week or two, sometimes longer

1) Yes, but my bank wanted me to be more precise in spelling the legal part of the name.

2) That sounds very Smiley Sad Actually, Upwork's payment to my bank took about a day, my bank returned the payment within a day.

Should I bother Upwork team in my case?

Thank you for your help!

No point bothering anyone. It will take as long as it takes.

The reason why it takes 2 to 4 days for the funds to get to your bank is because it is straightforward and automated. Once a payment has been declined it has to "swim against the stream" so to speak, and that makes it take longer.

It will come back, and I hope it's sooner rather than later, but once it is in the banking system there just isn't any way Upwork can access or even see it, so you might as well just wait.
