Got error withdrawing the funds with the same local bank I used for previous withdrawals. I reviewed the transaction history earlier an saw 2 highlighted transactions which indicated "Transactions that are due but has not been paid".

Hi Sharon,

I checked your account, but I was unable to see the same error message you mentioned. Could you please share a screenshot of what you are seeing from your end so I can check further? You can send them to me via PM by clicking on my name. Thank you.

Hi,

I was not able to take a screenshot of the error message cause after doing
a refresh on the page it just didn't show anymore. But If you check on the
overview it showing the funds were already withdrawn but on the email sent
by upwork shows that it was not authorised so I was looking at my bank
statement no funds came in. I just want to know where the problem is and
how long before I get a hold of my hard earned money.

Thank you

No, it didn't say that the withdrawal wasn't authorised. It said to contact Upwork **IF** the withdrawal wasn't authorised. It says that on every withdrawal confirmation and has always done.

There is no problem and the a withdrawal to your local bank account can take up to 4-5 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. When did you withdraw?

I've been using the same local bank for the past month and this is the
first time I got this error. Aside from this transaction error today it
usually gets transferred to my account right away.

And the error message is gone, so no longer needs to concern you.

That doesn't change the fact that the normal processing time is up to 4 to 5 days.

If you haven't received the money after 8 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) you can ask for a trace.

So what should I do after the processing time is over and funds are not
transferred to my account then?????

Is the processing time over? When did you withdraw?

If its been less than 8 business days since you withdrew: Wait

If it has been more than 8 business days since you withdrew: Ask for a trace

Ask for a trace where? How? Atleast after waiting if it doesn't go thru I
would know what to do to find where my hard earned money is

How long has it been since you withdrew?

In 10 years I've never had to ask for a trace. The funds almost always appeared after 3 or 4 days, very occasionally a bit later.

There is no reason to assume or fear that it hasn't gone through. At this stage, everything is absolutely perfectly normal.

So again: When did you withdraw?

Thank you for your response I checked some colleagues experienced the same
delays from the same bank. I just did it today. And just received an email.
I'm sorry I panicked since it was really the first time it happened.
