Just a suggestion, if Upwork can allow one extra message to the potential client once we submit a proposal..I know, one should address everything before he click "submit" but at times, you miss some vital points or queries from clients and you want to add that to your proposal but you dont find an option.
I think, it would be a great feature if we are allowed to add one extra message if needed after we submit a proposal..
To be fair, list that proposal accordingly in the proposal list to client so if i submit a proposal at first place initially and now i edit and resubmit, it should be ranked down accordingly..Hope all this makes sense 🙂
Thanks

re: "if Upwork can allow one extra message to the potential client once we submit a proposal"
Thank you for your suggestion.
This is not necessary.
If a client receives a freelancer's proposal, the client is in the "driver's seat" when it comes to deciding if she wants to communicate further with the freelancer. Clients do not need to be pestered by additional messages.
What you suggest MAKES PERFECT SENSE if freelancers are Upwork's customers, because it would provide an additional service to freelancers. But Upwork's customers are the people whose credit cards are charged to pay for services - the clients. What you are suggesting is not something that would improve the client experience. For that reason, I think it is unlikely that this will be implemented.
And, as a freelancer, your suggestion runs counter to how I succeed on Upwork and use my time effectively. I submit a job proposal and forget about it. I don't think about it after I submitted it, and I don't re-read my proposal cover letter, get anxious over what I wrote, and then desire to send an amended message that changes how I capitalized "MicroSoft Excel" to "Microsoft Excel."

In the rare case where you want to amend a proposal, and I'm assuming that would happen very rarely, you can withdraw it and resend a new one. (Rare because it costs another 2 connects.)

I'm sure Upwork would never voluntarily make a change that costs Freelancers fewer connects, but I'd love the ability to edit or ammend proposals, even just for time's sake. Forgotten links and attachments are a pain.

Yes, that is possible. You will not get the connects of the withdrawn proposals back, though.
