Work Diary screenshot problem

The work diary takes screenshot only of my wall paper and none of the work I do is being recorded. I've already given access to it under privacy settings. Does anyone else face a similar issue? How can this be solved?

Do you have two monitors by chance?  I know there is a setting to show both monitors but I don't remember if it has one to pick a monitor.

No. Use a MacBook pro. So just a single screen. I even tried switching the
option to active screen. The problem is still the same.

Yes. I've done everything that is mentioned there and the problem hasn't
been solved.

Thank you for the response Bojan. I already gave all the necessary permissions through the privacy settings. The problem is still there. Is there anything else I can do?
