Hi all,
I have delivered the work to my client successfully but she is not responding and I have not received any payment since.
Offer date was August 31, 2017
I see that in Upwork you no longer can even submit a proper ticket for adequate support as a freelancer. In my opinion, Upwork makes money out of freelancer's labor, so they should be more supportive. I hope that they turn this pretense of caring for freelancers into something real.

Hi Amir,
I checked your account and can see that you requested approval for your submitted work 5-days ago. If the client does not request for any revision on the submitted work in the next 9-days, the amount in escrow will automatically go to your account.

Amir: I get paid automatically whether the client responds of not.
If you are not getting paid automatically for your work, it is because you made a mistake.
Was this an hourly or fixed-price contract?

re: "Upwork makes money out of freelancer's labor..."
Some of us, yes.... How much money have you earned for Upwork? It sounds like you have not been paid anything yet.

I worked on a full time Upwork (Odesk at that time) project for 2 years. 40 hours every week. So yes, I was one of the laborers.

Did you use the "Submit work" key to deliver your work? Payment is not immediate, you know. Even if the client never responds, you will be paid 14 days after you hit the submit key.
Also, read https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us/articles/211063738-Access-Your-Earnings and other information about payments which is available when you click the "Help and Support" button.

re: "my situation is the same , i also have submitted my work 24 days ago but the client is still asking me that he need's time to review it so what should I do?"
Dawit:
The review period is 14 days. After that, Upwork automatically releases all escrow money to the freelancer.
Why didn't you receive your money 10 days ago?
Did you forget to click the "Submit Work for Payment" button?
Did the client click "Request Changes" to block payment?

The client intentionally blocked payment.
If it was me, I would do nothing. Say nothing. Wait five more days.
Hope that the client does nothing and the money gets released.
If the client blocks payment again, you should file a dispute:

Amir = Did your client FULLY FUND escrow? If they did, you need to submit your work by clicking on the Submit Work/Request Payment button. If you didn't do that, click on that now, If you've done that, do not click on it again because that will set the automatic release dates back to the beginning. If the client isn't responding, you'll receive whatever is in escrow in 14 days.

"Offer date" is meaningless.
Is there a CONTRACT?

I have submitted the work to my client named **Edited for community guidelines** for the contract id: 25433244. After submitting the work i requested for releasing the payment but the client didn't respond me. I ended the contract by giving feedback that client is failed to pay the amount. The amount is still in the escrow and I didn't get the amount. How can I recieve the payment of my work done?.
Contract screenshots are attached.

If you didn't wait for auto-release, then you sent a refund when you closed the contract. As it says in the screenshots, you "cancelled" the contract. The client has 14 days to review.

You send the work with the button "send and request payment", the client has 14 days to review the work and release the payment. If client do nothing, after 14 days the payment is automatic.
You don't have to ask or bother the customer for anything.
I suggest you read the help and forums before you **Edited for community guidelines** another contract again.

I had ended the contract too. Now can I recieve the payment or not?

That sent the money back to the client.
You should have submitted on the actual contract, then waited 14 days without resubmitting.
NEVER close the contract until you have been paid.

Hi Waleed,
I checked the contract you are referring to, and it seems like you have cancelled the contract before the payment was released. Please know that the client has 14 days from the most recent submission on a milestone to review and approve or request changes. If your client doesn't respond to any milestone submission within 14 days, the deposit is automatically released to you. Since the contract has been cancelled already, please reach out to your client directly. They have the option to send you a bonus instead. Please also check this help article to learn more about fixed-price contracts.

The Client ended the contract with great feedback, I had entered all the hours manually as per the client's requirement.
I ended the contract too and provided the feedback. Now, I'm unable to find the feedback on my profile neither the payments are pending nor the working hours are included in "Total Hours" on my profile.
Idk what's wrong, but it must not be done like this.

Nothing is wrong. The client will be charged tomorrow, so nothing has been paid. AFTER the client has been successfully charged tomorrow, the hours and the earned money will appear on your profile, but that can take a day or two.
rakesh m wrote:I had entered all the hours manually as per the client's requirement.
The client REQUIRED you to use manual time? That sounds suspicious... You do understand that there is no protection for manual time. Why would any cclient require you to use manual time? Manual time is great for clients because they basically don't have to pay for manual time if they don't want to.

Thank you all for your help. I very much appreciate it. I have read all your comments and will wait for now to see what happens. The reason that I'm so negative about this is that I had a chat a while ago with the client and she wanted to avoid the payment. Since then I have not heard back from the client and this got me worried.

Amir:
Forum moderator Avery confirmed that you set things up properly. You submitted the work properly. So now you just need to wait 8 more days.
Whatever you do, do NOT push the green Re-submit button. That starts the clock over. You don't want that. Do NOT send any kind of note or reminder to the client. She indicated she doesn't want to pay you? That's not really okay on her part, but let's hope she doesn't do anything about it.
You do NOT want her to think about this contract. You don't want to remind her of it or give her a chance to request changes. Just be patient and let the money come to you.
