You can't propose a new contract to this client until you've received at least one payment from them

Hi,

I accepted a contract from a client, but had to end the contract due to not being able to meet the deadlines. we did however agree to new deadlines, but now I can't propose a new contract.

How can I resolve this?

Hi Johan,

Your client can set up and hire you on another contract at any time, if no funds have been exchanged on your first one you will not be able to propose a contract from your end only. Thank you.

The client can go to your profile and just hit the "Hire Now" button.

The contract you ended without payment will lose you your RT status and knock your Job Success Score when you get one. That was a very bad move, you could and should have just renegotiated the deadline with the client and finished the work on the same contract because the deadline is entirely meaningless as far as metrics go, whereas contracts that are ended without any payment really hurt.

Ouch. Ok, thanks for the explanation. If she would hire me now through the method you told me, will my score still be affected?
