You cannot add manual time for the time period you've specified.

When I add manual time I get the error:

You cannot add manual time for the time period you've specified.
 With no option to change time and date range is blank. Any ideas?

Hi David, 

 

Manual time can be added to the current billing period before the Work Diary is locked (every Monday at 12 noon UTC). In this case, you can only add manual time for this workweek. The time to add to the last workweek has already ended on 23-March, Monday, at 12 noon UTC. 

Here are also some information that might be helpful:

  • You will not be able to add manual time for hours where you have logged time already.
  • Your client will need to "activate" the manual time in your Work Diary for you to be able to log manual time to your contract.
  • Manual time is not protected in the Upwork Payment Protection program.

If you are trying to add manual time for this work week, and you are going through an issue, please let me know so that I can look into this further.
