Your Contract is on hold.

Today I got the email that my contract is on hold. It was fixed contract which was pre funded. I have already submited the work two days ago but haven't heard from client since then. What could be possible reason of holding the contract? Should I be worried?

Sorry to hear that about the status of your contracts. Please, make sure to stop working on these contracts and continue only after you can see that the contracts have been resumed. While I can't share details about the client's account for privacy reasons, please ask your client to communicate with our team in order to resolve the issue with their account and resume your contracts.

I have already sent him a msg but got no reply yet.
I just want to know if there's any risk of losing my money given that I have already submitted my work and contract was fixed and pre-funded?

Yes, there is a risk.

 

If a fixed-piece contract is in place, it there is a problem with the money... if the payment that the client made to fund escrow did not "stick"...

 

Then there is a risk that you won't be able to receive the money.

 

Although I would say such a thing is rare.
