This thread has been closed from further replies due to its size. In general, these issues occur when the transactions you’re attempting on your card keep being declined by the bank. Please contact your card-issuing bank for more information about the specific charge decline.

Hi Sagarmoy and Sagar,

 

Please retry the transaction using an alternative payment method from your PayPal wallet. The previous transaction did not complete with your currently selected payment method.

 

Meantime, you can add an alternative billing method in your account payment options.

which Debit or Credit card or something from INDIA belongs to any Bank to support Upwork for purchase connect ?

Can i use someone else credit or debit card to add billing methods for purchase connects.
Is it possible ?

As long as the owner of the billing method authorized you to use it, you should be able to add it to your account. If any issues arise, Upwork team will notify you directly.

I have the same issue, it says that the Payment was declined. But the charges were already deducted. Why can’t I buy the connected again the same way?

That ticket 29890360 was for my PayPal issue. Now I have my card issue. Bcoz I added a card instead of PayPal. The payment went through on my bank account, Bueno can’t buy more connects.

Hello, I've been trying to add a payment method to buy connects, but every time I enter the required info, I get an error. please help

PS: I am using someone else's account to pay as I have only RUPAY card

1.Please make sure that the card you are using is suitable
for international payments.

2.Try an alternate payment method.

3. Clear your web browser for cookies and try again.

I was trying to buy new connects bundle by using my PayPal account but I received a refusal message despite I have funds in my account.
Any idea!! Why?

I'm trying to buy connects via VISA card and each time I try I keep getting this message.

(My card has money).

It looks like the charge on your credit card keeps getting declined. Please make sure your card is set up to make international payments and has sufficient funds on it to complete the funding.

I would recommend checking with your bank, if your account/s are enabled for international charges. Once you`re ready, go to Settings > Billing Methods > and click on the Update button to set up your billing method completely. Thank you.

Hello 

i am trying to buy more connects but when i click BUY NOW it shows an popup and on card payment radio button it shows an error "Sorry, a critical component of this page failed to load. Please reload the page." . there is only paypal option available but i don't have paypal in my country. please advice me any alternate way to buy more connects Thanks

I'm sorry to confirm that the transaction was rejected by your card-issuing bank. Kindly contact your bank directly so that they can share more information on why the transaction was declined. 

In the meantime, feel free to add any alternative payment method so that you can proceed with purchasing Connects for your account.

When I enter the details of my billing card to upgrade my membership I received this error:

We are unable to authorize your card. Please add another billing method or contact your issuing bank.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Hi, I am from Pakistan. I am experiencing trouble while uploading my billing details. It's not accepting my VISA cadr details and rejecting. Can someone guide me on how to address Billing and Payment issues?
Paypal option is not available for Pakistan, is there a way to around that?

PS: There is Money in the Card and Online Banking is activated. No issue from Bankside confirmed this from the bank support team, also try caches cleaning and refreshing browser methods but still not worked.

I have entered my bank details on upwork and i am adding my father's card details for billing method to buy connects but upwork is not accepting so please tell me the reason why it is not accepting? Should the bank account details and billing method details be the same?
