Hi guys. Probably here I'll get quicker and more competent answer than from Upwork support.

For some reason I can't use my PayPal account to pay for connects just credit cards.

I have 100% verified PayPal account but when I add PayPal as a billing method it still asks me to pick the card I want to pay from. What do I do wrong?

Hi Oleg, I'm not sure if this is the reason, but does your paypal account have any funds? That's the only thing that comes to mind from looking at the screen shot.

Yes, it does have. That's why it's so weird.

Hi Oleg, 


I'm sorry for the delay as I had to check this with the team. It looks like you have added your credit card to your billing method. To address your concern, to be able to use Paypal, your Paypal account must have a linked credit card or debit card for recurring payments (for example, Freelancer membership fees).

Hi 

I am trying to upgrade my membership to plus, but when i am trying to make transaction upwork showing the error of payment could not be processesd, but on asking the bank authority they told me that upwork has deducted 1$. If they can deduct 1$ why not full payment and also why they have deducted 1$. I am facing this issue from 5 days kindly do somthing on urgent basis.

1.Please make sure that the card you are using is suitable
for international payments.

2.Try an alternate payment method.

3. Clear your web browser for cookies and try again.

Hi Goran V,

I am also trying to add a Billing method but unfortunatley I am unable to do so.It says we are unable to authorize your card.Although it works fine on other sites.

Can you please help.
