It is interesting to read about the personal rules of everyone at the beginning of work with a new client\freelancer. 

For example, sometimes when I see that the client is “normal” I can ask about his page on LinkedIn or Facebook.

This to some extent helps me to better find an approach to a person and build pleasant communication based on certain information. Do you have something like that? 🙂
