account deactivated

Hi,
I have a friend who is one of the oldest freelancers at Upwork. Who consistently maintained the Top Rated status over the years. Then created an agency and managed to make it Top Rated too. He was always honest, loyal, rigorous and with great professionalism.

But due to a very small and single mistake over so many years, his account has been deactivated.He contacted the department that specializes in reactivations but they don't seem really care, they seem like robots responding. They are treating him in the same way as if he was new to Upwork, with no proven evidence, no guarantees given, like a fresh Upworker. But he has a historical record of success at Upwork and he already gave them a lot.

In fact, he thinks he was just unlucky enough to meet his last client, who is a lobby for illicit products, and was a victim of them and his life started to ruin.

Does anyone know if there is any way to reverse this situation? Any email address, for example, that he can contact directly so that his account can be restored fairly? Or another way to resolve?
