Upwork calls this a "conversion." If your contract started 2 years ago (so, October 6, 2020 or earlier) then yes, according to their rules, you can transition them off the Upwork platform. This needs to be done on the CLIENT side, not the freelancer side. It costs $1 to "convert" a client off platform.
