can there be some budget limit to expert level projects

can there be some set budget limit for expert level projects....what i can see is even loads and loads of cheap budget projects are posted under expert level.

even $5,$10,$30 projects are posted under expert level....afraid to say but things are not going right 😞

yes but i work with many of my old clients here and there is no wrong to bring out few shortcomings i find.

While it would be nice to have different budget limits for different experience levels, pragmatically it would be a nightmare:

1) Different fields have different rates for different types of work. Having to go in and individually alter each one would be a tremendous hassle, not to mention the fact that most clients probably wouldn't know what category to put their required work under.

2) Setting hard minimums for budgets skews the market. Ultimately, the price of any one job should be able to go up and down freely depending on supply and demand.

So while the concept is great for freelancers, it's absolutely terrible for clients.

 I agree.

It's not something that could be implemented easily or at all.

Some things are very well paid at $ 10 - some seriously UNDERpaid at $ 1000 - it depends on too many variables to set hard and fast rules.

At the end of the days freelancers are meant to be independant businesses and should be able to quote their own prices.

"Budgets" are not binding, we are free to quote what the hell we like.

yes i agree but i am not sure if you are my designing field or not..since in designing the quality of projects is really down ..you cannot expect freelancers to do a job worth atleast $100 for $10 and project to posted under expert level.

i have no problem if such projects are under entry level...if i use filter to just see expert level projects and have such projects visible it under expert level it do disappoint one.

 Then what stops you quoting $ 100 or skipping the job altogether? NOBODY "expects" you to do a job you'd want $ 100 for for $ 10

how can i bid $100 on a project whose budget is $10 with expert level..and i have mentioned earlier there are loads of such projects these days...having such projects under expert level doesnt make you feel good...

and skipping doesnt help either as you see loads of such jobs everyday under expert level

It might be overreaching a bit to assume that a freelancing platform should make you feel good.
