Hi,
A client of mine filed a dispute after he ended the contract and after he sees my feedback on him. Can he still ask for a refund on hourly contract ended and the billing period way over now? Please advice me what to do on this. He files a dispute outside of Upwork and i was given a period of time to respond or it will be turned over to Upwork.
Thank you.
Ariel

Ariel, I think this client is trying to trick you.
What on earth is "filing a dispute outside of Upwork"?
What does that even mean?
If you have the money, and feedback has already been given, then you're done.
If he pulls off some super whine mojo-jitsu and somehow gets Upwork to refund money back to him, then I guess you're out of luck. But don't do anything he tells you to at this point.
Just delay. The longer you have his money, the less chance he can get it back.
If Upwork asks you to respond, then do so. Explain that the client is just trying to rip you off and scam his money back.
