client is silent after I have finished doing the task

the client is silent after I have finished doing the task, It was an excel or $6 and he was to pay 10 cents per every task address i found. After setting the excel final file he his just online and not responding. Yet i finished the task.

That is fine.

Clients are not obligated to respond.

 

As a freelancer, I get paid AUTOMATICALLY.

It doesn't matter if the client responds or not.

Do not check to see if a client is "online."

I never do that.

 

You have verified that you were officially hired by looking here: Upwork -> My Jobs -> My Jobs

You have fished the task.

You submitted the work.

If this was a fixed-price contract, you used the "Submit Work for Payment" button.

If this was an hourly contract then you used the Upwork desktop time-tracker application to record you time, and you sent the file to the client.

 

THERE IS NOTHING ELSE THAT YOU NEED TO DO.

Just wait. If the client does nothing, you will receive your money.

No problem, after 14 days the milestone will be automatically released (just don't click on "resubmit" as that will start it all over again"!)
