hi, client is posted a job on Upwork and im trying to apply on this job, but he reply me and ask me to contact in telegram, sinced i am newbie here i dont what to do... what would i do.

That is not a real client.

That is a scammer who wants to steal your money.

Do not communicate with this person via Telegram.
It is a violation of Upwork ToS to communicate with a client using Telegram or any non-Upwork tool before being officially hired.

What should you do?
Stop communicating with that person. Go do the job proposal page. Use the "Flag as inappropriate" option to report the job.

Don't do it. This what many scams ask you to do. Report and flag it.

It's a scam.  If they ask to speak to you OUTSIDE of Upwork for any reason, in any manner, before they have sent you a contract that is funded and they are NOT an Enterprise Client (which you would see on their profile clearly), they are breaking Upwork's rules and usually running a scam.  The only clients allowed to 'interview' outside of Upwork are Enterprise Clients

Hi Marjorie,

It's a Scam. Please go to the job page and then top of the right corner under the save job you will get an option 'FLAG AS INAPPROPRITE' simply click on it and then select 'Job post looks like scam' and sumbit it. Upwork Trust and Safety team will take action against the client. And near future if you get similiar job or invitation use the same method to report immediately to take action. Thanks!
