contract temporarily suspended

Hello , i have a contract was temporarily suspended and the notification got it today

i know that i shouldn't do any work or anything till the client fix this

but know what will happen the money i earned it ? 

it was with houlrly tracker and everthing's good 

now i won't get paid ?

so the only way to get paid for the work i did is only when he fix it ?

Hopefully, the client will fix it (Basically, when it happens on a Friday, it mostly means the client failed to pay for last week's hours)

In case the client does NOT fix it (pays Upwork what he owes), there is Upwork's payment protection:

If you used the tracker, had meaningful work memos, your screenshots show you working only on the client's project and you have good activity levels, you would normally be covered by Upwork's payment protection provided there are no signs of fraud.

However, if it is the $20 per hour contract, the protection would not cover you for $20 per hour. It covers you at your profile rate or your usual rate. So the most you'd get under the protection would be $ 5.56 per hour.

That said, the client may well sort it out quickly and hopefully it'll all be resolved.

but when i make sure that , that this money became in my balance ? 

right now it's not in the " available " balance 

so when it be there then the moeny got in my balance ?

When did you log the hours in question? If last week, the money (if paid) will be in your available balance next Wednesday just like usual. You've done plenty of hourly contracts - you know how they work. If there is an issue, you'll find out Tuesday.

When Upwork paid me out of their own pocket, due to Upwork Payment Protection, I received a note from them.
