email addresses

Racking my brain as to why a client wants to create 500 (not a typo) gmail addresses? Just so that I can understand, can anyone give me a reason for that?

Gmail addresses can be created for free.

A client could want 500 different gmail addresses so that she can send people messages using different sender identities.

Or she could want a bunch of gmail addresses to satisfy a request for a large number of unique email addresses.

There could be legitimate testing reasons for this. Or there could be reasons that you wouldn't necessarily consider "honest."

Honestly, I find that weird, too. I would be backing slowly away.

I feel like it really can't be good.

Client wants to register for something 500 times.

🙂 Or, client anticipates being blocked 499 times.

The client either SPECIFICALLY wants Gmail addresses.

Or she is NOT a very sophisticated computer user.

Because there are many far easier ways to generate 500 unique email addresses than using Gmail.

spammmm

And I think you need a phone number now to register, so they get linked to you. They all want US accounts too just like everything else on the Internet.
