end 1 contract with income to make another contract

There was a contract with the first milestone with a value of $15, however, after the submission completed the work the client wanted me to do more he wants to cancel the contract as well as make a new contract with a higher value. 

Does this affect my Upwork success score?
I have to choose how is the best

Client able to end current and open new or add new milestone for current. Or close as-is then use "add bonus" option.

Better if you not have contracts closed with 0 amount.
