Hi Insaf,
I would strongly advise you not to end the contract if the funds haven;t been released to you. Was this a fixed price contract? If yes, you will need to submit the work on the milestone created for you. After 14 days the funds will be transferred to your account if no actions are taken on the milestone. Keep in mind that if you resubmit the work again you will reset the 14 days period. To learn more details about fixed price protection, check out this Help Article. Thank you.

You don't want to shorten contract to con, that is slightly misleading. You should end a con any time you have the opportunity to do so!

she means contract..
Insaf, is the rest of the payment actally funded (in Escrow?)
If yes, request it through the contract using the official "submit work and request payment" function.
If there is nothing in Escrow nothing can be done anyway if the client decides not to pay you.
