If i continue to work after reaching the hourly limit, will the client get notification that i worked over the limit? I know that how working overlimit will not get billed by upwork to the client but he can see the hourly work. right? My client is a good man, we have been working with each other for a very long time, no arguments about payment ever happened. So I was working for him and reached the weekly limit as he wanted to get this work done asap. I left a message saying to increase the limit but looks like he is offline so i wanna finish the work. SO, Will he know that i worked more hours?

Only time within the weekly limit on an hourly contract will be billed and included in reports.

Your client can approve your time overage after the fact, but I'd recommend notifying him ASAP when you know you're going over. Nobody likes surprises that cost them money.

No. Your overtime will be erased if client will ignore.
You can work for free then ask for bonus. But be ready that time wont be paid. Only works within limit will be paid by default.
Good practice is asking to extend limit before. No action - no works.
