ghost clients..

they need to improve how the connections work there are jobs where the client says they need the service for the same day we spend 12, 13, 40 connections and the client doesn't respond or close the project for days... that's ridiculous... if it says so in the project that the work must be completed within 24 hours after 24 hours the project should no longer be there, and there are many ghost clients on the platform too, this wastes an absurd number of connections for nothing, I just started working with Upwork and I'm already giving up because of this reason, I generally tend to take quick and emergency jobs, I've already spent more than 200 connections, 90% of these quick projects don't respond, and generally these people have 5 stars or have a good rating, payment is verified and everything...

Well the fact the matter is that Upwork is really for people that are desperate for money and will do anything or it. It's not really for seasoned professionals.
