I am working as a freelancer on Upwork and want to post a small job on upwork, but it is not working. Why is that?

Did you mean posting a small job post as a Client? Here are a few resources you can read:

In a nutshell, if you're a freelancer or agency manager now, but would like to set up a client account so you can hire others:

1. Go to Settings > Contact Info and scroll down to Additional accounts.
2. Choose New Client Account.
3. Once set up, use the account menu at the top-right of your screen to switch between using Upwork as a client, freelancer, or agency.

You need to go to your freelancer account and add a client account to it.
