how to get first job

I have been in Upwork for a few days, Still looking for my first job! though,  still i might need some more time to be lucky! One thing hindering me from getting more chances is Limited connects! I can't afford to buy connects, So I wanted to know, if Is there any way to get reward connects specific against activities in Upwork?

Take the Upwork readiness test after you have read the terms and services it would alot you with 60 additional connects. 

Other than that on the support page read the articles & if anything is not clear articulate it here like how you did in this query. 

Since to make a proposal you will need to write a comepetent sales letter look into a basic copy writing to articulate your pont well to potential clients.
