including freelance website in proposals

Hi,  There's a lot about me, who I am, my experience, my approaches, etc., on my own freelance website, but it's my understanding you can't share anything in a proposal that would provide contact information outside of the platform. It would be very beneficial to share the site to establish my experience and expertise. Can I share the URL in proposals, or is that pretty much verboten?

Yes, you can share URL in your proposals, that's not against Upwork's Term of Service.

They're gonna make you close this new account and go back to your old one, so you might just want to hold off and bid with your original account. To answer your question, yes you can.

Hi Martin,

Please send me a PM with more information about your old account so that I can check it for you and assist you accordingly.

Thank you.

Upwork

Hi, I previously had an UpWork account and was beginning to establish a track record. I had at least one piece of 5/5 feedback. Then I had to drop my account for several months. I have now started an account again (old credentials wouldn't work, of course, so I had to start over from scratch). How do I get that track record, from the previous account, associated with my new account? Any way to do that?

Why wouldn't your "old credentials" work?  Just FYI, you are not allowed to have more than one account, so I'm sure a mod will come along to tell you what you need to do to access your old account (not sure what you mean by "drop") and close the one you just made.
