is public feedback considered empty if no private feedback provided ?

1 - if a client provides a public feedback, but leaves the private feedback empty, would that be considered as 'contract with no feedback'.

2- what about the opposite, if a client provided private feedback, but leaves the public one empty?

3- can a client change their private feedback?

4 - does the public feedback counted at all in the JSS?

5- How do you know if a client left an empty private feedback? most of the time due to their little experience with how upwork system works.

re: "is public feedback considered empty if no private feedback provided?"

There is no such thing.

A client is not able to leave public feedback only.

I client leaves BOTH private and public feedback, or neither.

re: "1 - if a client provides a public feedback, but leaves the private feedback empty, would that be considered as 'contract with no feedback'."

re: "2- what about the opposite, if a client provided private feedback, but leaves the public one empty?"

There is no such thing.

The only exception is SOMETIMES there may be a zero-pay contract which is closed or cancelled... nothing has been earned yet... and there may be no opportunity to leave public feedback while there stsill is an opportunity to leave private feedback.

But that isn't a "normal" contract situation.

re: "3- can a client change their private feedback?"

No.

re: "4 - does the public feedback counted at all in the JSS?"

We don't know the details of JSS. I believe that public feedback is counted at least a little bit. It is certainly not the main factor in calculating JSS.

re: "5- How do you know if a client left an empty private feedback? most of the time due to their little experience with how upwork system works."

If a client leaves public feedback, then they DID leave private feedback. There is no opportunity to leave public feedback and skip private feedback.
