is upwork's video/audio laggy for others?

twice i've tried to use it with separate clients, and it's always been really horrible; always have to switch to skype...the audio always goes out, and the video lags slowly..it's not my connection since switching directly to skype and google voice works well

This is a "work in progress."

 

I have tried this out.

 

But most of us find the performance of Upwork's built-in video and audio tools insufficient. So we use Skype or something else.

 

Presumably these tools will improve over time.

This happened to me today.  I couldn't get the screen to share. Both audio only and video conferencing didn't work.

The video is definitely laggy. But I have had no problem with the audio. Pretty convenient sometimes to have that feature.

However, it would be great if we could actually call each other up, with like a ringer. Instead of the message that says a call has been initiated.

I always miss those messages.
